
Professional Service
Faulstich is best known professionally as the long time owner of Printing Solutions. Alongside his wife, Holly Sparkman, he remains active in local real estate as a partner in Stich Investments, Stich Interests, and Kaigler LLC, which handle commercial and residential building rentals around the area. He also operates a local pop-up hot dog stand called Ron’s Wieners which donates all proceeds to charity.
Military Service
Faulstich is a proud veteran of the United States Airforce serving from 1984-1988 achieving the rank of Sergeant.
Civic Leadership & Community Service
Faulstich has dedicated much of his time to the preservation and development of Lockhart, serving on numerous municipal and organizational boards:
- Lockhart Chamber of Commerce: Board member (2012-2015), Past Chair (2014), and active corporate sponsor.
- Lockhart ISD Education Foundation: Past board member, current 50 Lions committee member, and corporate sponsor supporting local public education initiatives.
- Historical Preservation Commission: Current member serving the City of Lockhart to help maintain the town’s historic architectural footprint.
- Other: Member Downtown Clean Up Crew with City Council Member Brad Westmorland; Santa Claus at town Christmas events including Lilly’s Annual Children’s Christmas event, senior homes, and Blue Santa; member Lockhart Downtown Business Association; past member Keep Lockhart Beautiful; and various other fundraising, sponsorships, volunteering and community events including Take Me Home Advocates for Animal Transport, Lockhart Animal Foundation, 4:12 Kids, and Boy Scouts.
- In 2025, the Lockhart Chamber of Commerce named Faulstich its “Most Worthy Citizen,” recognizing an individual who has made a positive impact on the community. The award highlighted his sponsorships, donations, printing services, volunteer work, and participation on community boards.
- Printing Solutions was named business of the year in 2019 by both the Lockhart Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Caldwell County Chamber of Commerce.
Personal and Family History
- Early life – Faulstich grew up in San Jose, California the youngest of 4 children; his father is Robert (Bob) Faulstich, age 94 who was a plumber and his mother, Georgia Faulstich was a homemaker.
- Career – Faulstich joined the Air Force in 1984 and served four years in Homestead, Florida. Faulstich moved to Austin, Texas in 1984 after completing military service. He worked for Quick Print prior to starting his own business, Printing Solutions, in 1999. Though he recently retired from day-to-day operations and transferred 80 percent of the business to his son, Travis Faulstich, he retains a 20 percent stake in the company.
- Personal life – Ron is married to Holly Sparkman, CPA/CVA. He has two children (Crystal and Travis) and two step children (Sandra and Sarah). His father, Bob, age 94, is also a local Lockhart resident at Golden Age Assisted Living.
